Half n' Half? With Tony Dichiera from Suburban Brewery 630pm 10th October 2024

Is it a Boilermaker, or a Chaser? Or a Half n' Half? Whatever you might call it, the debate rages: should the pairing of beer and whisky be complimentary or contrasting? Should the beer highlight the whisky characters? Or vice a versa? Or should the beer simply cleanse the palate? 

These questions have flummoxed academics and amateurs for hundreds of years. 

We've invited Tony Dichiera, Founder and MD of The Suburban Brewery along for an evening at Spier & Wright to help us finally answer the big questions and put the debate to bed. 

We will need your help with this one, so we will arm you well with 4 x 100ml of beer + 4 x 20ml of whisky. Bring your discerning palate, and may the loudest opinion win!
