This event will focus on the remarkable Octomore 16th Edition releases, exploring how small changes in barley and cask influence can shape the flavour of the world's most heavily peated single malt.

The Octomore 16th Edition releases showcase Bruichladdich's dedication to experimentation and terroir. Each expression is a five-year-old whisky, but they vary significantly in their make-up:

• Octomore 16.1 uses Scottish barley and is matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels, setting the benchmark for the series.
• Octomore 16.2 elevates the complexity by integrating the richness of ex-Pauillac and ex-St Julien wine casks.
• Octomore 16.3 is a true terroir whisky, distilled from 100% Islay barley grown on a single farm, offering a distinct sense of place.
• Octomore 16.4 introduces a radical element, featuring a portion matured in virgin oak barrels from the Cognac region, adding structure and spice.
